Christina Applegate is an American singer and actress. She played the role of Kelly Bundy on the sitcom The Bundy World (1987–1997). She was nominated four times for the Golden Globe.

She was born in Los Angeles, California to Nancy Lee Priddy, a singer, and Robert William "Bob" Applegate, a record producer and record executive. Her parents divorced shortly after her birth.
